Watching the Sunrise over the Schrafft Building

What could be more beautiful than the sun rising over smokestacks and a big landfill of scrap metal... ahhh, early mornings on the Mystic River.

Since I had to be at work at the crack of dawn this morning, I plan on busting out at 2pm. But what ever will I do with all that time? Well, there is the Denim Sample Sale at The Castle at The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers from noon - 8pm. Maybe I can beat out the 5:00 crowd and get me some new jeans—which of course I do not need since I just went on a wee spree yesterday.

November = Officially time for Christmas Music

Too soon? It's already been declared official Peppermint Mocha season, so why not go all the way? Today at work, I'm streaming Christmas radio... mmmmm...

Write for your audience

The first thing you learn in Journalism 101 is to write for your audience. Well, it looks like my audience is a crowd of one, so I'm going to write about my latest fashion, beauty product, and restaurant finds as well as my newest sugary concoctions and awkward situations.

A recent graduate with a degree in journalism doing—shockingly—not journalism, I need every chance I can get to write. So, here it is.
